The KPN Telecom PSTN Inter-Region Connect Service is an optional service. This service provides conveyance of calls that originate in the KPN network from the Regional Access Point (RAP) in the Access Area where the destined Telco Subscriber is located, but where Telco has no Point of Presence (PoP), to a RAP in another Access Area where the Telco does have a PoP. The Inter-Region Connect Service is available for calls to geographical numbers and 06760 Internet numbers.
