KPN started providing this service for all Telcos in the third quarter of 2000 (the service is sometimes referred to as MIACO). The KPN Telecom PSTN 06760 Internet Connect Service is an originating service. Its main feature is that the (KPN) end user is a customer of a Telco or ISP (formally called the number owner). The main benefit for Telcos and ISPs is that they can offer special price structures and maintain a direct relationship with the (KPN) end user.
