Bitstream is a product of Business Unit Broadband
Networks (BU BN) for Wholesale Customers (WSC). The clients of the
WSC are enabled to get broadband access via a telephone line. The
end user is a client of the WSC, while the WSC is a client of KPN
Telecom.
Bitstream offers end users a broadband access service on the
base of DSL technique. In the first instance Bitstream will only
be offered using the ADSL (asymmetric) technique. SDSL (symmetric)
will be offered to the end user at a later stage.
