| The IP Dial-in Access Service enables the Contracting Party to give its End-users access to its Terminal Equipment by means of a local telephone connection. The Terminal Equipment may be connected to the Back-end connection dedicated to the service and to the location agreed with the Contracting Party.
For the purpose of the IP Dial-in Access Service, KPN Telecom Wholesale uses local Access Locations.
End-users can set up a telephone connection with an Access Location by dialling the local geographically determined telephone number of the Access Location or by use of the 06760 Internet numbering plan.
Data traffic between the Access Location and the Back-end connection
will not be possible until such time as the Contracting Party
has authorised End-users by means of an authentication procedure.
After authorisation, the IP Dial-in Access Service will issue
a temporary IP address to allow data transport for the duration
of the data transport call.
